A golden original: Pet-nat has won a gold medal at Jarovín 2026

We are absolutely delighted. Our Pet-Nat 2024 has won a gold medal at the prestigious Jarovín 2026 competition! This confirms that we are on the right track.

At this year’s wine competition Jarovín 2026 Both of our players scored Pet-naty:

• Pet-nat 2024 – gold medal
• Pet-nat 2022 – silver medal

It is also interesting to compare the two cohorts – two cohorts, two approaches, two personalities

• Pet-nat 2024 – a livelier, more straightforward young man, full of life. The lees were not removed, so nothing was added to or taken from the wine.
• Pet-nat 2022 – A more mature wild boar with the fat trimmed off. Very drinkable.

For us, pet-nat isn’t just a trend – we’ve been making it for over 8 years. It’s a natural way of working for us and an opportunity to show people what truly natural wine tastes like. During fermentation, we bottle the grape juice by hand – without adding sulphur or anything else – so that it can complete its journey there. Every bottle of pet-nat is therefore unique and one-of-a-kind, a fact emphasised by the hand-sprayed label. Unique inside and out.

What is Pet-Nat?

Pet-Nat is an exceptional natural wine. Sparkling, full of life and flavour, with a beautiful, deep orange colour. We’ve made it from the Rulandské bílé and Chardonnay grape varieties and bottled it by hand, where it completed its journey. Exactly as the ancient French method dictates.

It contains absolutely no added sulphur and is packed with vitamins and minerals. And everyone can enjoy it in their own way. Will you choose to open the bottle after stirring the sediment first, or would you prefer to gradually discover the texture of this wine? It’s entirely up to you.

With our Pet-Nat, however, it’s not just about what’s inside. We wanted its energy to be evident at first glance. So you won’t find a traditional label on the bottle, but a unique spray-painted design created right here at our winery. No two bottles are the same. Each one bears the mark of our collective work and creativity.
