Pet-nat 2022

This Pét-Nat (Pétillant Naturel) It was produced using an ancient French method, in which the wine is, during fermentation, bottled by hand without the addition of sulphur, so that it can complete its fermentation directly in the bottle. This results in natural effervescence, and the wine retains its vibrancy, energy and authentic character.

Wine is unfiltered and unsulphured, so every bottle is slightly different – just like the natural world from which it comes. Each one is unique and one-of-a-kind.

In the glass, it has a slightly cloudy, deep golden colour and a natural, delicate effervescence. The flavour is velvety and juicy, with notes of buttery pear and gooseberry, complemented by a subtle hint of aniseed. The finish is long, fresh and full of energy.

What’s more, each bottle features a unique spray-painted label, which we – Jáchym and Hanka – create by hand here at the winery. That’s why each one is slightly different. The 2022 vintage features shades of red, pink and burgundy.
