He is firmly committed to Ryzlink rýnský and Rulandské bílé, with a touch of the driest Pálava. It is precisely this combination that gives the wine its character, juiciness and long finish.
In the glass, it catches the eye with its pale golden colour. The aroma is complex and unusual – you’ll find notes of mulberry, jostaberry and lamb’s ear, elegantly rounded off by the scent of freshly baked bread crust.
The flavour is juicy and full-bodied. Notes of whitecurrant, early apricots and peaches emerge, gradually giving way to a finish characterised by the subtle minerality typical of Pálava. The wine has a long and distinctive finish, which develops beautifully in the glass.
Just like its counterpart, ONA, this wine was created to be shared.
