Vinařství Fučík ranks among the top six in the ‘Winery of the Year 2025’ awards

The final evening is now behind us. And we’d like to say thank you.

The final of the 16th edition of the prestigious ‘Winery of the Year 2025’ competition is now over – and Vinařství Fučík took part as one of the top six finalists.

This competition recognises the best Czech and Morava wineries every year. The Czech Republic Winegrowers’ Association, in collaboration with the National Wine Centre, not only seeks out producers of top-quality wine, but also assesses their approach to the development of the sector, innovation, the use of modern technologies, marketing and their overall contribution to wine culture.

Being among the top six is a tremendous honour for us. It is also a significant moment in a year when we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Vinařství Fučík.

Ten years of forging our own path

We’ve come a long way over the past decade. Ten years of tradition, hard work, a love for Mikulov and the courage to do things differently.

We are not afraid to go our own way. At the same time, however, we honour nature, respect the vineyard and believe that good wine is made, first and foremost, in the vineyard.

We look after our vineyards the old-fashioned way. By hand.

Every detail has its significance. Every step has its reason. And our meticulous care is reflected in the wine – in its purity, character and energy.

For us, the competition final wasn’t just an evening full of emotion. It was confirmation that what we do is worthwhile.

Even though we won’t be taking home the main trophy this year, we’re returning home feeling proud and hugely motivated for the next season. Finishing in the top six amongst such strong competition is an achievement that belongs to the whole team at Vinařství Fučík, as well as the Ryzlink Hotel and the Ryzlink Restaurant.

Congratulations to the winning Plenér Winery and its winemaker Dominika Černohorská, as well as to all the other finalists. We are honoured to be part of the elite of Czech and Morava winemaking. Together, we are raising the bar for wine culture ever higher.

A big thank you also goes to you, our guests, customers and fans. Your support is our greatest reward.
