Success at the King of Wines 2026 competition: three gold and one silver medal

We are delighted with the results of the prestigious ‘King of Wines of the Czech Republic 2026’ wine competition. Four of our wines have been awarded medals; we are taking home three gold and one silver medal from the competition.

For us, this success is a testament to the quality of the 2024 vintage and the meticulous care that goes into every one of our wines, from the vineyard to the bottle. Among the award-winning wines are three from our popular Diamond range and our original Cuvée X 2024.

Gold medals for three wines

The highest score among our wines was awarded to Cuvée X 2024. With a score of 88.60 points, it won a gold medal.

Three wines from the Diamond range were awarded gold medals:

• Cuvée X 2024 – 88.60 points

• Pálava Diamond 2024, late harvest – 88.00 points

• Diamond Ryzlink vlašský 2024 – 87.60 points

We are all the more delighted by these three gold medals because each of the award-winning wines has its own distinctive character. Together, however, they represent our approach to winemaking: respect for the grape variety, an emphasis on the quality of the grapes, and meticulous work in the cellar.

Silver for the Rulandské bílé Diamond 2024

The collection of medals was rounded off by the Diamond 2024 Rulandské bílé, which scored 86.80 points and won a silver medal.

This award, too, confirms to us that the Diamond range is one of the cornerstones of our production. In this year’s competition, no fewer than three wines from this collection were successful.

Four awards that make us happy

Vinařství Fučík’s overall performance at the 2026 King of Wines of the Czech Republic competition is a wonderful result for us:

• three gold medals,

• one silver medal,

• four award-winning wines from the 2024 vintage.

Behind every medal lies hard work in the vineyard, patience during the wine’s ageing process, and a series of daily decisions that ultimately shape its aroma, flavour and overall character. This makes the expert jury’s recognition all the more meaningful to us.
