The wines included in this range are unique gems, whether due to their small production runs, the method of production or their level of maturity. This is the first time we have selected the Rulandské šedé variety for the Diamond range, as the beautifully ripened grapes of this variety in that vintage suggested to us that they would produce an exceptional wine.
Skladem
Description
The amber colour of this wine is a sign of the grapes having been macerated for several days, followed by ageing in unique ‘Rare’ barrels from the renowned French cooperage François Frères. Aromas of tropical fruit, fine wood and home-made caramel blend into a rich and juicy palate, where you’ll discover a whole range of tropical fruits accompanied by a hint of cinnamon and vanilla pod. A grey wine you’ll remember.
We recommend serving this wine with red meat or creamy soups.
This wine is not subject to excise duty.
