We\u2019re bringing home a result from Vienna this year that has made us incredibly happy. All four wines from the Diamond series that we entered in the AWC Vienna 2026 international competition won gold medals. In addition, the P\u00e1lava Diamond 2024 received 91.8 points and advanced to the finals in its category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four wines, four gold medals<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We submitted four wines from the Diamond series to the AWC Vienna 2026 competition, all from the 2024 vintage. They differ in their varietal composition, aromas, and overall character. However, they have one thing in common: each has earned more than 90 points and a gold medal in international competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highest-rated wine from our winery is P\u00e1lava Diamond 2024<\/a><\/strong>. A dry white wine with an alcohol content of 13 % and a minimum residual sugar content of 0.9 g\/l received 91.8 points<\/strong>, a gold medal, and a spot among the finalists in his category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P\u00e1lava is primarily associated with distinctive aromatic qualities. In our dry version, these are complemented by freshness, precision, and a pure varietal character. It was precisely the balance of these qualities that also impressed the international jury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a grape variety so closely associated with Moravian winemaking, recognition in Vienna is exceptionally welcome news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuv\u00e9e ONA Diamond 2024: A Harmonious Blend of Three Varieties<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cuv\u00e9e ONA Diamond 2024<\/a><\/strong> received 90.3 points and a gold medal<\/strong>. This white cuv\u00e9e blends P\u00e1lava, Rulandsk\u00e9 b\u00edl\u00e9, and Ryzlink vla\u0161sk\u00fd. Each grape variety contributes a different element to the final wine\u2014aroma, structure, freshness, or minerality. Their combination has created a harmonious wine that has also succeeded in international competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also Cuv\u00e9e X Diamond 2024<\/strong><\/a>, made from a blend of P\u00e1lava, Pinot Blanc, and Welschriesling, scored over 90 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the result 90.1 points<\/strong> It won a gold medal, rounding out the four successful wines from our winery at AWC Vienna 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why International Awards Are Important to Us<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wine is made in the vineyard. However, its true quality is only revealed over time, through people\u2019s experiences, and by comparing it with wines from other wine regions and countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We therefore do not view the results of international competitions merely as medals on our bottles. For us, they serve as independent feedback, confirmation that we are on the right track, and a commitment to continue our meticulous work both in the vineyard and in the cellar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year's result is all the more impressive because all four wines entered in the competition were successful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
